Katherine + Brent’s Euroa Butter Factory Wedding

Ahh these two. High school sweethearts turned husband and wife—and honestly, their whole day felt like a full-circle moment in the best way.

Brent chased hard for six months back in the day after sneakily getting Katherine’s number from a mutual mate (dedication!). Eventually she caved, and at the ripe age of 15, they were officially a thing. Texting-only, obviously. Talking in public? Not a chance. Their first kiss was after a trip to the video store with mates, and by all accounts—it was awkward as hell (as all good teen kisses should be).

The Proposal

Fast forward a few years to August 12, 2023. Brent picked up the custom ring he’d had made, did a quick tour showing it off to friends and fam, and finally got home to Katherine—who, at the time, was in a full fake tan situation, wearing a green face mask, and just trying to get to bed before netball the next day.

With their two dogs, Maci and Harvey, jumping on the bed, Brent dropped to one knee and opened the box. "Mum, will you please marry Dad?" Yep. Game over.

The Wedding

They chose Euroa Butter Factory for the big day and it just fit them. Classic, elegant, minimal—and seriously stunning. Outdoor ceremony with those rustic textures and warm light, and just the right mix of fancy and relaxed.

Portraits were an absolute dream. Nothing felt forced—these two just melted into each other and made it easy. That golden light hit just right and I had to keep reminding myself I wasn’t shooting an editorial.

Champagne tower? Yes.

Dance floor that went off? Absolutely.

That kind of joy you can feel in the photos? You bet.

Honestly…

It was the kind of wedding that didn’t try too hard. It just was. Real, beautiful, and filled with people who adore them. So lucky to have been there to witness it all.
