Olivia & Robbie | From Tinder to “I Do” on the Farm
Some love stories start with grand gestures… Olivia and Robbie’s started with a Tinder swipe and a cheeky beer at Palling Brothers Brewery in Heathcote. Robbie tried to play it cool (read: hard to get), but Olivia clearly had other plans because here we are wedding bells, bulldozers, and all.
The day kicked off in the sweetest way a church wedding that had everyone smiling, tearing up, and holding their breath as Olivia made her entrance. It was classic, heartfelt, and the perfect start to the “forever” part of their story.
After the formalities, it was time to celebrate in true country style. Their reception was held right on their own patch of land in Cornella – the farm they’d recently bought together. Honestly, how special is that? To toast your future on the very property you’re building your life on. Pure magic.
And then came that request. Robbie wanted photos on his dozer. Yep, you read that right. Groom + bulldozer = wedding gallery goals. I couldn’t make it up if I tried.
As the sun dipped, we snuck off into the paddocks for those dreamy golden hour shots. These two absolutely nailed it – no posing, no stress, just running, laughing, and soaking up the moment. Their “first dance” wasn’t rehearsed, wasn’t polished… and that’s exactly why it was perfect. Pure, joy-filled, real.
Later, when it came time for the official first dance, the same vibe carried through. No big production, just two people in love, twirling and laughing while everyone cheered them on. Honestly, it’s the kind of dance you can’t choreograph – because it comes straight from the heart.
From a right swipe to a farm in Cornella, Olivia and Robbie’s wedding day was everything – emotional, hilarious (bulldozer cameo, I’m looking at you), and totally “them.”
To Liv & Rob – thank you for letting me be there to capture the chaos, the calm, and everything in between. What a way to kick off married life.
